|Traits:||Aggressive, efficient, loyal|
Masaka Miki was born in Seattle, and seemed almost preordained to join the Yakuza. His father was a kobun in Japan before being sent over to Seattle during The Schism. Under his father’s tutelage, Masaka was raised to be a traditionalist and to be fiercely loyal to the yakuza ways.
When his father passed, Masaka was given control over his father’s interests, and has proven to be very effective as a kobun. Being raised in Seattle has given him unique insights into the people of the International District, and he has become one of the Shotozumi-gumi’s most effective enforcers.
With the return of Keiko Shotozumi, Masaka has led the charge against her influence in the Yakuza. To Masaka, Keiko represents a dangerous shift in direction away from the traditional yakuza values. Masaka would never act against Keiko directly, because she has the ear of her father Hanzo Shotozumi, who happens to be Masaka’s oyabun. But if the opportunity were to arise, Masaka would find some way to dishonor Keiko in front of her father, hoping to get the Shotozumi-gumi back to its die hard traditionalist ways.
