Loka is the leader of a gang in the Redmond Barrens called the Nativez. She rose to prominence using some unusual methods: she only recruits women, and encourages them to prostitute themselves rather than forcing them into it. Loka has tattoos all over her body, mostly of a religious nature indicating a deep connection to old-school Catholicism. Despite her affiliation with the Christian faith, she has managed to make some friends within Aztlan, who provide her and her gang of women with all the firepower they could ever need. She currently dominates the majority of the prostitution in the Redmond Barrens, which has put her at odds with the three nearest gangs: the Marymoor Crips, the 104 Boyz, and the Yung Mafia.
Loka started her gang life like many others – she was sexed into a now-defunct gang called the Ghetto Ghoulz. At the time, she was only 14 and had no idea what she was getting herself into. But she adapted and began to love the thug life, despite being treated like a second-class citizen. She developed a friendship with a fellow gang member named Jojo, and the two of them ended up going down very different roads once the Ghoulz collapsed.
Apparently Tamanous didn’t take kindly to someone using the word “Ghoulz” in a gang that had no actual ghouls in its ranks. So they wiped out almost every single member of the gang in a single deadly night. Jojo and Loka were out with their respective johns, and came back to devastation.
Jojo took the money she had been keeping and left the gang life forever. Loka decided to build a better gang on the ruins of the Ghoulz. She decided that prostitutes were to be treated better, and that the communities under her protection would not be preyed upon by her gang. Thus the Nativez were born. Drawings heavily from the SINless youth of Aztlaner descent, the Nativez have managed to eke out a small section of the Redmond Barrens. Because of Loka’s policies, many prostitutes from other organizations choose to work for the Nativez. Additionally, the local community benefits from the protection of the Nativez, and they know that the Nativez won’t sell drugs to their kids.
The Nativez have a relationship with the David Cartel, the criminal arm of Aztechnology, which gives them a steady supply of guns and drugs.
